In-person siting of PR3's
Stopped by a Motorcycle shop here in SLC earlier today and was able to physically compare the PR3 to the PR2s ... was impressed by the design and the fit/finish. Believe this is what I will put on my 12R when the time comes for new skins. Great improvement over the PR2s. Still a bit on the pricey side right now.

Re: In-person siting of PR3's
Hi angellr.
I saw a bike fitted with those PR3s yesterday.
It looked to me as if a bit of time spent with a razor blade would allow a Pilot Road 2, to be upgraded to a PR3.
Seems to be the same tyre but with extra, very narrow, sipes added.

Yup, had LOTS of extra siping on the tires but also had little knobs at the end of each cut. The cuts are also several times thicker than a razor blade sipe. Net/net, wonder how long they will actually last, but am thinking it might be worth a try here in the next 2-3K miles.CRazyCam wrote:Hi angellr.
