BMW R1200R R1150R/T F800 K1200R R1100R/T R1250R RnineT Message Board

Hi. I am new to this forum stuff so please bear with me. I have just picked up a 1995 R1100 R.
Very pleased with the bike but boy does it need a screen.
I bought a MRA Vario screen and fitting kit.
The screen as been a bit of a pig to fit. I have done it but it is not how the dis-struction explained.
Has anyone else fitted this screen to an R1100 R.? If so would you be able to post a photo of how you fitted the brackets to the bike.
I would be very grateful.

I have the (1100R.pdf) instructions. They came with the bracket.
I tried to follow them but could not get the brackets to fit properly.
The say to put the short part of the arm into the handle bar clamps. But when I did this they hit the clock and rev counter.
If I could see a photo of a set fitted it would make the fitting of mine a lot easer.
