I Hate Nails

Post by jas »

After running Conti Road Attacks for 35,000 miles I have switched to the Metzler Z6 Interacts. So far the only difference I can tell is that my wallet is lighter. We'll see how they handle the rain and light snow soon though.

And all this after I found a nail in both the front and rear tires of my poor rockster Friday morning!

Sorry about your predicament....suggest you stay away from Nail Rd and find an alternate route.

That's rotten luck. As mentioned, the front tire is a rare vicitim of shrapnel.

But the rear tire... worst case I've had was nail pucture 100 miles after mounting a new tire. Tried to stretch out the life of the tire by plugging, but the hole location was too close to sidewall, plug wouldn't hold.
