Fuel Pump Noise

A few weeks ago I had a fuel tank QD fail. I replaced the QDs with the high dollar Omegas, 4 pieces of new fuel injector hose and 8 fuel injector clamps. Before totally rotating the fuel tank into place I started the bike to check for any leaks on the new installation. Everything looked and sounded good. I got everything back together and later that day decided to go for a ride. As soon as I turned the ignition on I heard a horrible squeel coming from the fuel pump. My thoughts are it has to be related to the work I just did. I was very careful about cleaning the hoses after cutting them. I had drained the tank into an empty five gallon gas can, I used a fine mesh paint filter while pouring it back into the fuel tank, and didn't see anything in the filter. Now I'm wondering if one of the hoses got pinched when I rotated the tank down. I had to leave the next morning for work at a remote job site so cant check that theory out till I get home in 10 days. I did ride the bike around the block to see if the noise would go away, it got a little better but definitely still there. Will appreciate any of your thoughts on this.
