R1150R Flyscreen/Windshield screw not accessible

A friend has an R1150R with the BMW flyscreen. It has 4 individual mounting arms to attach it to the bike. The right hand mounting arm closest to the handlebar is a problem. The screw keeps coming loose & it needs some loctite on it to keep it secure. My problem is I can't get an Allen wrench in position to R & R the screw. There is a metal "shroud" that prevents me from getting a tool to fully engage the Allen screw. Any suggestions?

Any long allen keys with ball ends usually do the trick. You can also find same as bits for 1/4" rachet drives.

Can be found many places, including Harbor Freight.

I used a standard Allen key but cut about half of the short end off with a Dremel tool. Still a bit of wiggling but it worked. Chamfering the cut edges helped it fit a little easier. I have some ball-end keys also but the cut off Allen key worked better IMHO.
