Would you like to see a 2011 Calendar featuring owners bikes?

If there is enough interest we will do a repeat of last year. For those who have joined the forum since January, you can view the 2010 calendar at :

Its even better in the flesh,....but then I 'm biased, since my bike is featured (April).

Next step, lets guage interest. Please indicate if you would like to take part.

We will create a "sticky" thread at the top of this forum page to post your photo. We will then have a competition (in the Autumn) to select the best 13 (12 + cover photo).

Let me know if you are unsure how to post photos. We will allow time for you to take snaps over the summer so get out there and give it a go.

I hope to get some pictures on vacation this year and I am waiting on a CD of pictures from the Cornering school at the track from last month

Sounds like a great idea. But what about a different thread 'just' for the calendar pics, otherwise the gallery will get mixed up with 'normal' gallery pics & calendar voting pics...just a thought to make it easier to vote/view etc.

Doug has given the OK to set up a "sticky" thread for our Calendar competition photos. I will start the thread shortly. Start selecting your favourite photo.

Will post some guidelines in next day or so.

There are loads on the Gallery, but need owners permission so c'mon guys , are you up for it?

I'll submit. I was in last year's BMWBMW.org and F800Riders.org calendars so now that I've traded for an R, it only seems logical.

Hey - I'm busy going scenic places for calendar pics.. some will be forthcoming.. mebbe as soon as tonight.

Last year's calendar had members forum name and country on the photo. For next year's calendar I 'm thinking we should add the location of photo also, given that they are often taken during a trip to somewhere of interest.

I'm going to Glacier National Park in a few weeks. Hope to get some good shots, so count me in.
