Handy battery failure.

Got bike 11/10/2008. Battery died today at the dealer when I had my headlight replaced under warranty. I was very grateful for the timing, I tend to go hiking in the boondocks and a battery failure out there would a major drag. Kudos to Hermys in Port Clinton PA for promptly popping in a new one under warranty. They've always given me great service and I was tempted to reward them for their diligence by picking up a nice orange GS1200. Or maybe that nice blue R1200R. Or maybe ...

So that's how you spell "ey," ey? I lived in Canada for 10 years and never could figure it out.

Had a similar battery failure experience. Was just leaving the dealer after purchasing a couple of crush washers, pushed the start button and got the infamous clicking sound. The service manager was standing within earshot writing up another bike and hollered over "I'll be right there!" and laughed. I didn't even have to tell anyone I had a problem :p New battery installed then and there and I was on my way, just a bit poorer unfortunately.
