Post by martygilbreth »

What do I have to do create a 12volt circuit for electronic gizmos like gps's, or heated clothing?

Normally I run the wires directly to the battery.

Depends on the bike you have. You could possible install an aux plug somewhere at the front of the bike (if you have a fairing). You get such a plug from BMW (it is similar to the cigarette lighters used in cars). Route the wires to the battery and don't forget to use a fuse ...

An example for this can be found here http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=61&fg=30

Kind regards
