I'm just wondering, is R1100R can use R1150R front strut or other models also interchangeable?

Which part are you referring to?
Note this is a GS diagram, but it will tell me.

I've just changed to YSS adjustable front shocks. Comes with 2 years warranty and serviceable.

If you think of the telelever component as the front strut I can confirm the one of the R1150R fits the R1100R perfectly (I have done this mod on my R1100R). You can see photos of mine here in this forum. However you need the R1150R telelever as well as the axle (which fixes the telelever on the engine side - the axle of the R1100R does not fit with the telelever of the R1150R).

Everything is pretty easy except for the fixing of the front ball-joint which needs to be heated to at least 120 degrees celsius in order to break the loctite!

what model is your YSS? where did u get it from? my front is in need of a replacement.i can't afford ohlinss nor wilbers right now

The only one which might fit is VZ362-325TRL-02 (suitable for R1150 Rockster). Since you are suposedly from down-under why don't you check out this site http://www.yss-australia.com/
