What a great bike

Post by boxerpaul »

I just returned from a trip on the R1200R - from Kingston, Ontario to Fredericton, New Brunswick and back.
Prior to this, the longest stretch I had ridden the bike was about 300 km. Time was scarce so I allowed only a day each way. I'm very happy to say that the trip went perfectly! The ride was a little over 1100 km each way and so this is a new personal achievement for me as I haven't really done long distance before. The bike really can do it all. The luggage is extremely stable at high speeds; you don't even realize it's there. The bike has no end of power it seems. No glitches or hiccups at all on the ride and I couldn't be happier. I just thought I'd share!

It's been rainy and storming all day here. Thanks for rubbing it in. ;)

Sounds like a great trip. This is the best time of year to let her stretch her legs some more too!
