Will the GS screen fit?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the screen and hardware from the R1200gs will fit the R1200r?

Nope, the attachment points/system is different on the GS to accomodate a screen that is adjustable whereas the R's screen is stationary.

While it may be possible, I doubt it'll be practical.
By the time you have welded on the hardware to attach the adjustable screws on the sides, it would be cheaper to buy a good aftermarket windshield.

Thanks for your comments. I see what you mean, I had a look at an R1200gs at work today, and I think it was a silly question now.
