There was just one bike doing the maneuvers. The rest were Photoshopped in.

Actually I think they do it like this:

some guys comes up with a hair brain idea over some beers, plan, hire Paula Abdul to choreograph, dry run walking, dry run walking, practice, drop a few, practice, practice, drop a few, practice, practice, practice, drop a couple, practice, practice, practice, drop one, practice, practice, practice, drop one, give that guy a desk job, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice... show time!

Everybody in Rome drives like that (often accompanied by much shouting and waving of fists in the air)

Okay, okay. So I'm guessing you guys didn't find it as remarkable as I did. I'm easily entertained, I guess. But c'mon - there aren't even lines on the ground. You were probably all in the marching band in high school too, right?

They just need some background music... maybe "Send in the Clowns"

Seriously, that WAS pretty impressive. =D>

Maybe Verde's "Requiem for the Masses" would be appropriate!

That was an impressive display of precision riding. The Italian Carabinieri are probably the best trained police in Europe for a state paramilitary force. I saw many of them riding Moto Guzzi's in the late '70's , but I couldn't tell what they were riding in that formation.

Whoa! That's a crazy blend of parkour and fixed gear stunts. That guy is phenomenal.

If I could figure out how to do that on my R12R, I'd get all the girls... alas you need a young man's body to survive that, I think, the falling part anyway.

The Italians were pretty sharp. I saw a similar one recently with Japanese riders.

The RT rider was really slick. Watching the police competitions with riders on RTs and Harleys doing that stuff should shame most riders into improving their skills.

The guy on the bicycle is really good. I have seen a lot of videos like that since my youngest son, when not blasting down insanely steep, rocky downhills with his 9-inch travel downhill bike is also attempting similar tricks with his 'hucking' bike, although (Thank God!) at a much higher threshold of sanity and lower injury potential. Of course, he built a jump ramp for his bicycle when he was 3 and still on training wheels.

I am speechless. Nobody can do that. And let's say they could, what keeps the wheels round?

Danny MacAskill...wow...what a stud. Poetry in motion.

Watching that makes me want to sit down with a bong and a skate video.

Naw, I better not. I'd jump on my skateboard and do something very, very stupid...I'm getting so old, so fast. :smt022

Am I the only member here who has a skateboard? (your kids' board doesn't count)
