More Lights

I'd like to increase the amount of lights I have on the R. How would I go about adding some LED or small lights to the sides? They would be functional and not some funky color like I have seen floating around out there. The lights would ideally be on all the time and sync with the turn indicators. Providing added visibility and some cool functionality. I am considering under or flush with the oil coolers. Any thoughts on placement

? Welcome a push in the right direction. I also want to add Motolights, or PIAA to the front, so this will definitely be an electrical project.

Check out this thread for PIAA ideas.
I used RCU brackets from A&S. They looked silver on the website but are an ugly brown color, so I painted them silver. The photo of the red bike with the England badge on the front is mine.

Also, Gord's done a good job of the RCU/PIAA install

Today I feel like a search engine.

Thanks for the refferal for the PIAA install. I am leaning towards a fender mount for those.
I found some information about 5mm and 8mm LEDs, but nothing substantial related to installation. Ideally I'd convert the turn indicators to running lights and add the small LEDs under the oil coolers facing the sides. That looks like the easiest and most logical place for them.
Anyone have experience converting the turn signals to operate all the time? Is it a simple process?

Do a search on this forum for "Kisan Signal Minder" or got their website

Here's a few photos of where I installed my PIAAs a few years ago.

They no longer sell (or I couldn't find) the matching black lamps (one of mine got smashed when someone broke into my garage) so I've recently replaced with the silver PIAA 1000xt. I was able to use the exact same mounts and wiring and just replace the lamps in place.
The silver doesn't actually look too bad next to the headers/jugs but it definitely stands out a little more than the black lamps.
I followed a great writeup on this site about how to install the lamps - but this was from like 6 years ago, I think some of those old posts might be gone by this point. I have them wired through an accessory fuse panel and they're wired through the ignition so they go off when the bike does.
I've been very happy with these lights. It took a short while to get used to the forks being lit up but the increased visibility is awesome.
