Ztechnik Storage Pod

Just wondering if anyone is using the Ztechnik Storage Pod, and if so, how do they like it?
I haven't decided about a tankbag yet, mainly because of the height of the tank to begin with. The Storage Pod looks like it would hold just enough for me and it is out of the way on the back. Thanks and happy riding!

Don't do it, it a flimsy pile of dung. I returned mine and got this instead

RKA also makes a few tailbags - nice because they come off/go on really easily. The base for them stays on the bike, and some velcro straps loop through and hold them on. Secure and easy. Holds enough for trip overflow for me (and my SPOT..)

Thanks Dave and Don for your input. I was wondering about the quality of the Ztechnik storage pod, sometimes it's difficult to know just from seeing a picture. The axio tailbag looks like it might be just the right thing. I noticed it comes with velcro straps, any trouble keeping it in place?

No problem keeping it in place as the valcro straps wrap arond the back just above the taillight and on either side around the frame tubes. It looks clean and is rock solid.

I can confirm about RKA !
I just received 2 side luggage's and this is HI quality stuff indeed... they also make a nice seat bag but didn't ordered it because when I ride and work I wear a Billingham messenger/photographic bag --http://www.billingham.co.uk/acatalog/Packington.html which is a very high quality really waterproof bag but it slide and bounce too often from the space on the seat behind me. (It will be great if Billingham could design motorcycle soft luggage's..pricey but its Top Notch quality)
Problems:
1) I guess Its dangerous in case of crash to wear and be attach to a bag.
2) Even if the stability and handlebar control of the R1200R is purely magical It's really annoying to have to replace every 5mns the bag with one hand to slide it back on the rear seat.
Solution:
I vaguely have one solution but it will consist to ask an aluminum worker to design some kind of brace which will be attached roughly the same way than a rear seat bag... the brace design will allow to just retain the bag to slip and slide left or right. But this do not resolve the dangerous factor of wearing the bag while riding.
Maximum loading of the rear top case is 5kg...I must weight my bag but it is full of costly camera's and laptops so I am kind of shy to take the risk to loose it on the freeway.
Best way will be a brace attached to the rear top case rack and allowing the bag to be placed independent from me at the end rear of the seat against my top case.

Didn't like it. I had problems geting it secured to the bike..
gave to the dealer to use a door prize...whole heartedly agree w/ dd a pos. I went old school, a small back/mail bag and a Bungee Cord.
