Numbers and what the mean

I just made my 333rd post on another section of this forum. The number 333 reminded me of my Air Force days, in particular, my time at the 333rd Aircraft Maintenance Unit at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson. I was a crew chief on the A-10A Warthog. After two years at Davis-Monthan, I spent three years in good old RAF Alconbury, England, crewing the A10-A. While I was at RAF Alconbury, I had the opportunity to see the TR-1 (formerly known as the U2) spy plane up close. What a machine!

Interesting!
I was never in the military and may times wished I had served. Grew up with the Navy. Dad was an Aviator for 30 years. Oft think it would have been a tremendous and fulfilling career but always knew my poor eyesight would prevent that career choice.
Instead I try to pilot an R!
