Has anyone had their ASC activated?

I am curious to hear about any experiences. I have it on my new bike but I have not had any instances where it might kick in.

The ASC in my right wrist usually kicks in when I spin the rear tire

I've had it a couple of times.
1 Launching uphill on greasy, very wet and somewhat bumpy surface - rding back from teh Aussie GO on a very wet day. As the rear got light on a bump, the engine kind of hesitated (i heard the note change). There was no change in my wrist position - I was far from throttle wide open because of the conditions, and this incident was very brief. As the weight came back onto the rear, the engine went back to normal and on we went. Based on too many years' experience, I'm pretty sure I'd have had some wheelspin on another bike - and teh sportsbikes aroudn me were having wheelspin issues in the conditions.
2 Naughty Billy moment - cracked the throttle wide on takeoff, juts for the hell of it. On my test ride (no ASC) the front wheel had come up with less acceleration. This time the engine did its 'kind of hesitate thing and the bike's attitude settled. Pretty sure that wasthe ASC preventing a front wheel lift.

I rented last year a ASC equipped R1200R in Europe and while going up on a steep and slightly wet section of the Furka pass in Italy the ASC kicked in coming around a corner. It felt like when a rev limiter kicks in but not as abrupt. This was the only time on this almost 2,000 mile trip.

In 10,000+ kms, i've experienced the ASC only once. It feels like a sudden and effective loss in power right up until the moment the rear wheel finds some traction; certainly not obtrusive & IMHO a welcome addition to the bike.
I have never purposely tried to coax the ASC to activate - but even when riding on wet, slimy roads & charging around a go kart track like a loon (many, many times in a row
) none of that convinced the ASC to nanny me.
On public roads (and especially during winter), i am VERY light on the throttle as the R has a lot of 'shove' in the lower rev range.
That is probably the main reason why i don't activate the ASC more often.
Saying that, the ABS has saved my bacon sooooo many times i dare not mention....

Deliberately, yes. WOT in first and second gears. It did allow the front wheel to lift off the ground and stay there for a while, but not very high. Also have had it intercede on slippery wet roads. It allowed the rear tyre to step sideways a bit, but not very much, a bit like my Dakar when winding on too much throttle too early in a corner exit, though in the latter case there is no ASC
