This is not a joke. It's about cocoa mulch sold by Home Depot and dogs liking the chocolate smell and taste . . . .

Thanks for the warning.

Our Boxer has eaten (stolen) chocolate several times. I was very concerned the first time it happened and immediately called the emergency clinic. IIRC she had eaten a good part of a bag of Nestle morsels. They said that for my size dog (she is currently 81 lbs) she would have to eat several pounds for it to be fatal. I don't think she even had intestinal distress from it.

I am not saying that chocolate is safe for dogs, but I think sometimes people get worried if a dog eats just a little bit.

My wife and I have had boxer dogs since we were in college 40 years ago. Must have had 8 as pets and a number of litters. Great dogs. Yours is one nice looking girl. Our current boxer (Paisley) is a smaller female.

BTW, we get lots of comments and horn honks about our license plate (see avatar) from dog owners, but can't recall anyone knowing about BMW boxers.
