Its amazing this company still stays in business. I have a Corbin on my R12GS which, when I got it was showing some of the under side felt where it meets the gas tank. I had to send it back for a recover which they did without an issue. It just sucks to pay so much for a saddle that you have to tweak on your own or send back for poo like this. Comfort on corbins has always been good for me and I do think they make the best looking saddles on the market. I guess thats what keeps them going.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL-- NOW THAT U MENTION IT-- LOL -- I HAVENT SAID A WORD ABOUT IT-- BUT THAT UNDERSIDE FELT ISSUE IS PRESENT ON MY SEAT AS WELL-- AN I WILL INSIST THAT IT BE HIDDEN. WHERE THE NOSE HUGS THE GAS TANK.............. OUGHTA BE A NICE SEAT IF THEY ADDRESS 1- THE STITCHING SEPERATION 2-THE FAILURE TO LOWER THE SEAT 3- THE EXPOSED FELT 4- LOUSY SEAT PAN-- I SPECT THERES NO HOPE THERE.

It will be very interesting to hear the results of your visit to Corbin. Very interesting. I know mine educated me.

I have had 2 corbins on Harley's and the preform excellant.Had well over 70,000 0n one almost looked as good as the day I received it.But when I see some of the seats on other make bikes out there their fit and finish goes down for sure.I belive the focus on harley's the most

Had a Corbin on an R1150R and an R1100RT. Both were good. Currently have a Corbin on my K12S with a smuggler and I love it. Sorry you've had such bad luck. Good luck with the repairs.

Sorry to hear about your seat Wild Pig. I just got one on today and so far the stitching and fit is all ok. I've only done about 100 miles on it but the height is just right for me, which is more good luck than management I suspect. It is way more comfy than the stocker, and if it holds together over time I'll be happy with it. As far as Corbin service goes (as Don has stressed on here many times) my experience is they are great to deal with up until the point where they have your money...after that anything goes! But I recon you'll get yours sorted.
Regards Mick.
