Aftermarket Turn Signals

On the way back from the Indianapoilis GP, a piece of gravel shattered my front left oem turn signal. Does anyone have suggestions on where to find an aftermarket set of front turn signals for my 2002 R1150R? I'd like to replace the OEMs with something different....

I'm not sure if you meant just the lens or the entire turn signal.

When I broke my turn signal a few years back, I also entertained the thought of aftermarket replacements. I found absolutely nothing.

Hope your search is more productive.

Loree,

This page at newenough.com might have what you are looking for:

I seem to remember that Wunderlich also had some sort of replacements, but at a premium price.

I have a spare lense and a slightly scuffed turn signal housing that I will send to you if you want it.

Wunderlich does sell a sharp looking LED replacement turn signal, but they are expensive. I think you're required to buy a bridging module to balance the voltage for "sensitive" ABS bikes as well. Like all wunderlich accessories, they're no doubt high quality and unique. Sometimes it's worth it.

I bought mine (front and rear) from a German company named Polo Motorrad; small dark-tinted halogens, which are also available as LEDs. At first I wasn't happy about the tint when I saw them, but they actually do have TÜV-approval, and that was good enough for me. Mine have black cases, but it seems they don't carry those anymore, now they have a carbon-look: http://www.polo-motorrad.de/product/282 ... ils.0.html Very happy with those, and they give ample of light. Alternatively, look under the keyword "miniblinker" on other German sites. If you want the Polos and have a problem ordering them, let me know.
