Girl wonder and I recently returned from Bonneville Speedway, where we interviewed a number of fine people racing during Speedweek. One of these interviews may be of particular interest to the parallel-twin-loving-bunch that bought their R1200Rs because it captured a bit of the past. Randy Smith is a custom BMW bike builder, and he set a land speed record on his 1979 R75/5.
