Thanks Bill, I should have had my glasses on (seriously). It came out with a T45, but obviously didn't go back in as it should. Now, what torque?

After fitting a new crush washer...

BMW DVD sez:

Initial torque is 23 Nm
Final torque is 30 Nm

Usual disclaimers apply, as in (but not limited to): If you strip your crankcase threads don't blame me or my heirs.

Thanks Bill, I gave it a nudge and it's tight. The older I get the less I torque.
