This trip is on two of the many best highways to ride on in my part of the world. From the towns Vernon to Creston in British Columbia, Canada.

If you're heading to western Canada anytime soon or in the future I highly recommend it, even if you're taking that camper with the wife and kids. Make sure they're following you on your motorcycle though.

Haven't ridden the Monashee since the mid-80's! Marvelous ride then on a '73 R75/5.

Variation: From Nakusp -> New Denver -> Kaslo then south to the ferry and on to Creston.

I'm originally from Creston and hope to be retiring there, along with my R12R. So that ride will become very familiar!

Awesome, truly god's country.

I will be making my final trip to Kelowna next month, to pack my kid up and bring him home from the school year.

But, we will be returning in the next 2 years, and it may be by motorcycle!

Hopefully you'll get to bring your bike next time up sj. I had so much fun I'm going to do the trip again in the fall.

The ferry ride over Kootaney Lake is awesome. I believe its one the longest inland ferry trip in North America???







At the end of this month I have a week off and I plan to go up and down Vancouver Island. I don't know how great the roads are for motorcycling there, but the scenery will make it worthwhile in it self. I'll be sure to post here to tell about it.

What were the temperatures when you were camping? Looks cold.

I had no idea what the temperature was, maybe 5-10 degrees Celsius. I definitely could've used a warmer sleeping bag. Although, once I was asleep I didn't notice it.

Luckily, by the time do my next trip the weather will be scorching hot.
