Question on R1100R paralever rubber boot.

I am getting nearer to pulling the trigger on the R1100R purchase and I do have one observation......
The FD end rubber accordion boot had a zip tie holding it on to the paralever end and a thin metal clamp tightened with a screw, on the FD end. I know my R1150RT has black zip ties on my paralever assembly. I know I am anal and all that but if the R1100r should also have black plastic zip ties on the assembly it then means that someone has had doings with the FD before and THAT makes me feel a little uncomfortable.
Thanks for all your help with this....the last used bike I bought was almost 40 years ago!!!
