North Ga. Rally

There is a very nice rally happening in Hiawasee Ga. This weekend. The best roads almost anywhere. An R1200R shines on those curvey roads. It's one of my favorites. I'm leaving this evening.

Those who were not there missed a very nice rallly with some of the best roads I have ever seen. It was also the 1st rally I've been to with more than one other R1200R in attendance.

I looked at the pictures I took and none of them really sum up the rally. I got some good shots of airheads though.

I'm expecting to see 4 this weekend including mine.. George, Harry and Phred.. and me. All at Square Route in western MD. Nice rally. Will rain all day Saturday. Luckily they have a truck full of beer and seminars so that isn't a real problem. Supposed to be wonderful tomorrow going and Sunday returning.

Someday I'm going to make that one.. In fact, I'll be in Hiawassee at the Bald Mountain campgrounds next week for the annual British in the Blue Ridge rally.

Find Suches on the map and ride there from Hiawassee. There is NO boring way to get get from one to the other. Helen Ga. is the nearby place to find good beer.
