2007 BMW R1200R with 5,024 miles.
• Granite Gray
• ABS II
• Trip Computer
• Heated Grips
• Factory Sport Screen
• BMW System Cases & Locks
• Never dropped, never on the track (well, you could...)
• Stored in heated garage on battery tender (still)
• Remainder of factory warranty
• Serviced regularly by BMW dealer
The only thing that isn't stock on the bike is the fender job shown in the rear photo below.
I'm selling the bike because I just don't have as many opportunities to ride as I thought I would. I can't justify the expenseâ€â€so here it is, up for sale. I paid $15,000 plus tax for the bike last May, and am asking $13,500 for the bike and bags.
BMW Financial Services is willing to let a qualified buyer refinance into their own name for up to 48 months. If you want to explore that option, call 800.578.5000 x3018 (9am - 7pm, Mon - Thu). Give them the last 7 digits of my VIN (ZS25216) and see what they say.
If approved and assuming we were to make a deal, I would pay the difference between the current payoff amount and the winning bid. Simple.
Call Michael at 440.490.1544.

Question
Did you do the tail or is that an aftermarket thing.

That might be a little high. I’m in the market and within a couple of days of having one. I sat on five different R1200Rs from two dealers yesterday. The one leftover loaded 2007 I made an offer on was offered at $14,200 including all tax, fees and licenses. The price dropped to $13,600 as I walked out the door. I’m gonna offer $12,900 when I go back in today. The R1200R I made the offer on didn’t have the bags.. That might make a difference I guess.
Three of the R1200Rs I looked at were 07 dealer loaners each with ~7000 miles on them. New tires, and valve work done, All three loaded. They only wanted $11,200 - $11,900.

I think that is a fair market price. The bags make a huge difference in price. If you can talk down the dealer then that's great.
Good luck on the sale!

New bags are around 900.00 aren't they?

They are.. even with tax and shipping you're still at $800+ from Chicago BMW (20% discount).
My daughter (finally) sold her granite gray R12R (321 miles) to a fella from Indy two weeks ago. She got $12K for it - but that was without bags.

Did any of these have ABS? ABS is the one "accessory" I think you'll get back 100% of your money on - and it makes the bike much easier to sell (there are a lot of us who won't buy a bike without it..) I saw some low priced "new" '07's at the end of last season, but all of them were without ABS. Figure ABS is worth $1,000 even on a used bike. Bags - worth probably $600 on a used bike. Centerstand - I think all of them actually came with it. OBC - nice to have (I do) but probably doesn't change resale value a bunch. Colors - depends on what'cha like. Heated grips - prolly all of them came with them... but they do add to the ease of resale (I wouldn't buy one without them..)
The biggest price variable IMHO is the ABS.

Hey Michael...FYI, there is a Buy, Sell, Trade section in this forum (check the board index) where you might get a broader audience for your bike. Posting it for sale here is sort of like preaching to the choir, i.e., most everyone already has one.

I don't but I
need one really bad. Let me see what BMW Financing says, assuming of course the bike is still available.
Can you deliver to Mansfield?
