Hello,

anyone of you has any idea about the difference in domensions between sport and touring windshield (BMW)
Still seeking for a windshield that fit my needs I'm afraid one will not be enough....

The BMW touring screen is too short and the sport screen is much too short. lol. I have a 5" over Cee Bailey and it could be a couple inches higher and I would still look over it. Good luck.

You might do a bit of searching. There have been MANY windshield discussions. Your size is an important factor in what will work for you.. and that's discussed in a lot of the threads on windshields..

My windshield preference depends on a number of factors. I like the looks of my stock sport screen better than any of the larger screens ( lexan sails )and I am OK with the amount of air on my mighty chest. My head is in clean air. With my larger GIVI screen I disliked the looks and found less air on my chest but more buffeting on my head. The larger screens are also hotter and in the summer which is when I do a lot of my riding. This is an important factor. This is really the only other screen I have ridden behind but as far as looks go, I will stick with the sport screen until I can buy an "S" type screen from Wunderlich or Wudo. Or untill I change my mind.
I am 5'8" with 30 inch inseam.

Fact is that I'm searching some impossible way to avoid to buy three or four windshields
.......but I'm afraid I'll have to bouy at least a couple of them....

I sold my Aprilia Caponord because of the buffeting on my head which a laminar lip only partially corrected, and a Givi didn't do anything for. Clean air beats buffeting any day, especially in warm weather, 90's here last weekend.

A & S BMW got a Wudoo and had it painted gloss black to match the black R they put it on, and it was really pretty. I didn't have my camera or I would have posted pics. Too bad they wanted $1539.00 extra on the bike they had it on, ouch.

The guy who bought it was there last Saturday, and though he paid alot, he got a really nice looking bike. I will be curious to see if that set up causes buffeting as well.

I have a Nippy Norman's gloss black rear fender hugger headed this way. That would look so sweet with a gloss black Wudoo, maybe with some matching pin stripes.

It's not a bother.. we've all gone through a bunch of them. Please DO report back what you find if you try different windshields.

My next try is designing my own LaminarLip sort of thingie to play with.. gotta find some Lexan at work and get to the band saw..
