That is one weird (and expensive) looking trike. I do want to say though that I think it is very inspiring to see him still wanting to ride after having such a tragic accident. And it looks like a lot of fun. I wonder about accelaration though as that trike looks like a lot of weight for our 1150 boxer engine to lug around. Very cool story though. =D>

I have'nt checked out the story so i'm going to look a right !!! now.
But,
That looks like a 'Martin Conquest Trike' built in the Uk.. i believe some of the forum users have purchased rear suspension units from the company via e-bay.

That's exactly what it is. The first line in the article states that fact, and I happen to be one of the proud owners of one of those new rear shocks. Got the shock and speedy shipping via FedEx for $200. Great deal, and I feel like I'm helping the effort to put these guys behind the handlebars of a Roadster.

All it needs is a pop up tent coming out of that sidecar, and it's a rockin rallyin' machine!

Boxer... i did say that i had'nt looked at the link/story..

It must have some real special 'farkles' on it.. the base model in the UK is £21,000 ~ $42 000
the title puts the price at $80,000  But as i i said, i haven't read the article.
Ref the rear suspension.. if i need any rear end bits for my bike, i'll be tring those people first. be it susp, wheels, brakes, seat unit etc as they will all be removed to build the trike.
