2 Questions on 3 Summer Riding Shoes

Does anyone have experience with any of these summer riding shoes:

The Oxtar (now TCS) fit my bill best, but I can't find any reviews.

(Plus I admit that in general I wonder about buying shoes online. What's your take?)

I can't comment specifically on those boots. But NewEnough is a good company to deal with, and Oxtar a good brand (I have their Touring boots).

A shorter boot I do have experience with is this one:
Very comfortable, easy to walk in, sticky sole (doesn't slip)

Just my personal opinion, but I wouldn't buy any size-critical motorcycle apparel online unless I knew it could be returned. The same nominal sizes vary from brand to brand.

I had to exchange my Oxtar boots from NewEnough...no problem.

EDIT: after a quick search, I can't find any US dealers that currently sell Kochmann boots (German). High shipping charges and the declining value of the US dollar are said to be to blame.

thanks for your comments; I didn't see their review on webbikeworld until you pointed it out. Those would be a good alternative, and my experience with the brand (I have a pair of taller Kochmann boots in Munich) is very good. I'll check them out.

(A sad observation on our litigious society in the US: German MC accessory companies with stores in most larger cities, like Louis or Polo (no connection with Ralph) http://www.polo-motorrad.de/group/1034/ ... ils.0.html. will not even mail items to a US address anymore because of fear of litigation, as they told me over the phone and in stores.)
