Looks like you had a great ride.
The longest fairy crossing I've been on is the Yarmouth, Nova Scotia (Canadian) to Bar Harbor, Maine (USA). It was an Australian made high speed catamaran. Cruises at 55 mph, I seem to recall.
It used to be an 8 hr crossing (I think), but the Cat, as it's called, cut the time down to 3 hrs.
