Anyone using (or thinking of buying) bar-backs from CCC?

I can't help but like the way Creative Cycle Concepts (
http://www.creativecycleconcepts.com/ ) bar-backs look, but Good Gawd!.. $215!!?.. They must be made of pure platinum.
Has anyone taken the plunge?..
I also like their foot-peg lowering kit - but it's another $190.
Yeesh.. and people bitch about Harley parts being expensive (no, this is NOT a HD bashing thread - fergit I said that).

These are the Verholen barbacks. I've seen some, and they look pretty good. And if you need them $200 is well worth the price.

The parts from SW-Motech look almost the same and cost less than half as much. Check them out at

I have both of these: they are the Verholen bar-backs and the Suburban Machinery lower pegs. Got both direct from the manufacturer (but, sadly, not much cheaper).
Dealer installed both (gratis!) and says they were straightforward. Both appear to be very good quality.

Bill, Great pics.. love the look of the bags with paint..
Do you know if the dealer was able to install your bar backs using the stock brake and clutch lines and throttle cable?

We went through all in this in a recent thread ... but I can't find it ... or can't remember it ... or maybe my brain has run off ...
I've had no problems with cables and hoses. Some guys think the liens look tight in my pics, but they aren't too tight on my bike. I know from previous experience that dealers are told by BMW Australia not to replace hoses / cables, and my dealer said he had no trouble with this installation.
While I'm repeating myself, do look at the angle of the MV Verholen bar-backs. Off the bike they appear to have quite a 'rise', but because of the angle of the R1200R top yoke, they actually move the bars back more than up.
