Does anyone know the recomended handlebar torque value? Is this information available on the maintenance CD?
I had to remove the bars to install a new windscreen bracket.

Thanks

I am a mess. When I adjusted mine I did it without a torque wrench.

23 or 24 N-m, IIRC.

I can't verify because my shop "manual" is in limbo: Won't run on Mac or Windows 98, the 30-day trial on my borrowed copy of XP is expired, and I don't want to buy Vista. Why can't BMW just make it a .pdf? Or, even better, why can't they sell it as a paper manual?

Here's a 1150R repair manual in PDF format. I'd imagine the torque values would be the same..
