While posting on a thread a few minutes ago, I noticed my post count at 2,999. So in trying to think of an appropriate post for the 'milestone' number, I decided to post a thank you to Doug for creating this board and a thank you for all the people I have met through this forum, both the 'virtual' friends and the many I have managed to meet in person at 4 Bashes and numerous other events. Some of you people have turned into good friends (you know who you are) and it is all because I became involved on-line here.

I estimate that I have probably met between 50 and 60 past or current members of this board and enjoyed meeting all of them.

And I can assure you, on no other forum anywhere do I have more than 10 posts! I do have a life!

I probably won't catch DJ though!

I bought my first computer (laptop) just to get onto this forum.

All the time that I have spent here over the past six years has been well worth it..IMO..But I have only been lucky enough to meet up with a few of you guys.

But..I have made some very good friends here.

The only thing in my life that I have missed out on..is those crappy tv shows that I used to watch because there was nothing better on the telly.

What a great bunch..What a great bike..and what a great forum...

That 3,000 milestone does not include what you amassed on the old EasyBoard server, where this board started. I lost a couple thousand there myself. On this board I usually do not reply unless I have useful content to add.
