just wanted to say hey to all the Rocksters. i am totally (so 80's) diggin' this bike! I currently ride a Suzuki M50 with a few nice mods, Cobra pipes, Kury Hypercharger the more major ones. While constantly scraping my pegs and bootheels, I find myself longing for something more but not a crotch rocket.

I'm seeking longer-term comfort as well as kick-arse looks and I think I have found it here! Just gotta sell the M50 first.

So, my first question is, how comfortable is the stock handlebar on longer rides?

It really depends on how tall you are. I'm 6'1 and my arms are long enough so I don't have alot of my weight resting on my hands. You do lean forward more on the Rockster than the Roadster, but it's nowhere near as far forward as on a crotch rocket. I like the ergos just fine.

Rockster handlebar works for longer trips, but it all depends...

The original bar position put too much tension into my shoulders when riding for more than four continuous hours; installation of 1" bar risers has solved the problem - comfortable for 8+ hours riding, including the normal breaks for fuel & food.

Choice of seat makes a difference too!

The Roadster bar is also comfortable, and some board members have swapped one handlebar for the other, depending on desired posture.
