Feasting On Asphalt
Watched the first installment last night...I think it was the first one. Alton is eating his way up the Big Muddy with full crew in tow.
If you noticed the grey haired tall guy helping that one dude get into the sausage costume. That was our illustrious BMW dealer owner here in Marietta, Bob Wooldridge. I think Bob is an official Alton Brown groupie/BMW attendee along the road.

It would seem that BMW has gotten or board this time, as there was barely a scene where the "roundel" was not displayed. The first series, the bmw trademark was pretty much hidden, but I think at that time they underestimated how popular the series was to become. I am glad they came to the table, enjoyed the 1st episode thoroughly, wishing I was with them eating my way up the Mississippi.
I think that I am going to have to visit this place on the way too or from Arkansas.

I believe that the interstate BBQ was featured in one of the recent best eats in the US......I'll have to check it out.
Marriage is an institution and so is the mental ward........Yes, I'm brave now.....the missus is away on vacation and can't read my posts...

Don't dream it, do it.
Come on down, help the economy. In August there are lots of specials at restaurants and with hotels--it is a slow month.
