Gary...are you forced to ride a recumbent because of your back..or is it just for fun..and do you have a tall flag so you can be seen in the traffic..

Very Cool, recumbents are a lot of fun and very comfortable. They are also a lot faster than most people think.

Definitely had my back in mind when I bought it, but it is also a lot of fun. I'm bummed I didn't try one sooner in life. The riding position makes so much more sense.

Flag? I look dorky enough on this thing, might as well get a flag, I suppose. I'll grow a long beard and get some knee high tube socks too. I'm saying that because I tend to see some interesting people on recumbents. Maybe I'll fit in well with this group.

Anyone here owned an Intruder? The 1400 can be had for $6,500 new at a local dealer, and I'm really getting the itch to buy again. Might be good for the short rides I'll be taking now and then. I owned the 800cc version years ago, it was pretty quick, handled well.
