Does anyone know where I can get hold of a soft copy of a Rockster repair and maintenance manual, something similar to Haynes?

Cheers,

I've got the CD with the factory workshop manual in it.

Will get you a copy made up. (it's NOT a haynes manual, but does include some instruction.)

Also look up the "Advice" pdf that's available on the web - actually hoot it - I've got that too and will stick it on the CD.

Probably get it done sometime this week? When do you need it?

I've got the Clymer BMW R850, R1100, R1150 and R1200C (1993-2005) Service, Repair and Maintenance Manual. Just shy of 800 pages. I've used it for a dozen different projects and it has been thorough and accurate for my '04 Rockster.

The Clymer manual number is M503-3 and an online search should find multiple sources.

Ughh. You clearly stated softcopy. This thing is a brick. Maybe the info will be helpful for others, perhaps as a doorstop. :P

I'm thinking of buying either the Haynes or the Clymer repair manual:

http://www.clymer.com/Book.aspx?bid=843 ... +1993-2005

or

http://www.haynes.com/products/sfID1/8/ ... ductID/328

Any suggestions to which of these I should choose? Or is the one just as good as the other?
