I'll have to go with your correction on this one. My R12R is my first BMW and though I have had it 5 years, I'm still pretty uneducated when it comes to things BMW. I'm just happy I caught that it was a BMW

Awesome pic, thanks for sharing. Is the bag on the back of your bike the BMW bag? I'm going to be doing a trip in two months and was thinking of buying the BMW bag that looks like that. Its supposedly waterproof. Thanks.

I use a waterproof duffel bag (not sure of the brand, as we are not in the same location right now) that I picked up at a sports outlet for maybe $30. It holds a TON (way too much!!).

That bigger bag is a Ortieb D-Fender bag. Great MC bag due to its oval shape. Strapped down with ROK straps.

The small bag on the tail in the photo above is my tent in a Sea to Summit eVent Compression Dry Sack. Awesome bags, and truly 100% waterproof. One for the tent, one for the sleeping bag.

I have the grey BMW 51L sports bag also. It's a great piece of soft luggage, very convenient, waterproof, and looks good too IMO. This is the old version, the new ones are a little shinier, updated and called the Sports 2 bag. It fits nicely on the rear rack too, allowing for 2up riding.
