That pipe looks real nice on the Yamaha/MZ. I should do something along those lines with my GS, but I just don't like loud pipes, never have. I'd bet a Power Commander III and the quietest pipe I could find would still wake up the GS. Maybe next winter, I'm bearing down on buying a third bike, just can't make up my mind what it'll be.

My Old Man, "C.M." Howe on Indian Chief, Amarillo, TX 1948. I miss him every day.
Bashful young Darthrider on porch, ugly dog Weavey behind the screen door...or vice-versa?

Edit: Damn! Even have to zap my dad..

Darthrider, looks like you had the coolest dad ever...those pics are classics. And that Indian, best looking American bike to this day.

I'm sure you treasure your memories.

Thanks guys.
C.M. was a cool dad. Honest to a fault, had the work ethic from Hell and taught me to hate no one.
He used to tell me to "Give a damn!"

Indians? Here's a '46 and a '48 at our small town car & bike show 2 weeks ago. Primo!

Edit: These gotta go.

Dave,
Thoise Indians are really nice. The dog is cool. I won't comment on the bare legs because that just wouldn't be cool.

I do have to ask what the hell is that green thing in the background of the first picture?

Jeff -
The "green thing" is a 750CC Kawasaki Triple dragster. He fired it up and did some wet burnouts for us. I love the sound of 3 wide open expansion chambers in the morning!
Back in the day, there was a guy hete who built a dragster with 3 Kawasaki Triples! Expansion chambers everywhere and an ear splitting sound not to be believed.
DJ - Sometimes just for grins catch a ride on some of the old eye candy...especially the hot stuff. I think you would be very pleasantly surprised!
But the babe with the 999? Oh yeah!

Some Favorites of Mine...

Each and every one fully capable of bringing tears to the jaded old eyes of long-time crazies...I mean enthusiasts!
If I had to comment on just one it would be that pretty little Bultaco Metralla...or maybe the Egli Vincent...or the Brough Superior...or The Devil's Ceegar, or, or...

(Dave strokes out...)
