How about Yellowfinch11's graphic with the words, "My Boxer's a Rockster"? (one of NK ED's suggestions).

fnfalman is right, I am currently awaiting a shipment of T shirts for the family from Bobs BMW. It has taken a while, but they do have some left in stock.
As for "Bank on It", I have no idea.
Is it stating the Rockster will be an investment in the future, or that it can go around corners, or is it saying take out a bank loan or BMW finance on this bike.
It don't really matter to me anyway, I just can't wait.

The rockster must be the worst monetary investment bmw have made , the depreciation on them in the uk is frightening. But that doesn't stop me loving it..

In the UK, a 'banker' is a sure-fire certainty. I don't back horses, but if I did and someone told me they knew of a real banker, then I would be tempted to back it.
Phrases used are, "You can bank on it"; "It's a banker" and so on.... It's as certain as putting your money in the bank.
Then, of course, there is the rhyming slang for banker........... which is slightly more derogatory....

Thanks Rog, my Rockies a certainty then, but at what? I guess everything it is meant to do..........................Anyway, I received my T-Shirts today. I must say Renee at BobsBMW is very helpful and very quickly got them shipped DownUnder. The Large is probably a bit large for me but I'm hoping it may shrink, (i am a 95cm chest) that goes for the boys shirts (Lge and Med) as well. Looking forward to wearing 'em now.

With the availability of the newer 1200 and 800 engined bikes, it's a wonder anyone still owns an 1150 Beemer.

I wish they would have depreciated fast in the U.S. cuz I would have one right now...I just couldn't pass on the deal on my used Roadster.
As far as the 1200R is concerned...to much $ for a naked bike. Would probably upgrade if $ was not an issue.
The 800....may try out the GS when it arrives but was not all that impressed with the ST on my test ride.
I still have an eye for the Rock!
And I still LOVE my 1150!!

I couldn't agree with you more Buck... I prefer the 1150 lines (esp the Rock) over the R1200R's. Nevermind the performance difference... I test rode the R1200R last year, and found that it seemed quicker and more flickable... freer revving and lighter feeling too. So much so it almost felt like a toy. Maybe it's a pretty solid bike, but my Rock felt more substantial to the point of being indestructable.
The R1200R performance specs and technology with the Rockster looks and solid feel? Factor in a Rockster price tag and I'm there.

As the doofus who started this thread

, I feel compelled to give you all an update on it. The graphic artist, shortly after getting some progress done with the logo, had a string of hardware failures on her Mac (2 wound up going back to Cupertino!), and then things got truly maddening at work, and truth be told I forgot about it. Here is the base of the logo in question, originally Ves' idea:
She's getting the lettering right, hopefully this weekend, I will post results. Sorry for the exceedingly lengthy delay.

I just sent the image I crudely drew to an Internet based t shirt shop who charged me £17 for a long sleeved t shirt with the screen printed design on front and back, I think it looks pretty good, And where can you get a one off design T shirt for that money? See:-
