WHERE IS ALPINE WHITE?

I ordered an alpine white r1200r. It is the new thing for 09! You can see it on the german bmw motorrad hp!

Gimme Alpine white in the poll, so i can put 1 vote there!

my alpine white will ETA port here on 30 Sept. By the way, I read in one Jap webpage that says there's only each 100 unit of aphine white made for R and RT. Anyone knows about this?

I agree with Kalle: the white button is missing!

Seriously, my RR was born Crystal Grey, but turned to Police White last winter (when Alpine White was not available even in Europe).

Black pinstriped for me, though I haven't actually got it yet. six weeks to go... The new Alpine White option looks gorgeous as well but they won't be selling those in Australia according to the dealer here

When I was at the dealers a week or so ago - they noted to me the black with pinstripes would likely become collectable since BMW discontinued them for '09..

(Plus they're faster..)

Hmmm - Black with the stripes looks like he worst seller in the poll that could have something to do with it, or maybe thay ran out of decals.

The dealer here indicated that BMW Australia are very unlikely to deliver any white road bikes that are not special-order police R1200RTs. Cars here that see white bikes in their mirrors tend to stupidly jump on the brakes thinking they're about to get a speeding ticket. Pointless and stupid, but it's a good reason to never buy a white bike. Unfortunate, I think, because the R1200R looks great in that Alpine White

Amazing... the white you can see looking to the front of my white RR is close to nothing...

You can do the way I did: bought it grey then paint it white.

The latest news from the Intermot International Motorcycle and Scooter Fair in Cologne (Köln), Germany, coming week(end) is that the color crystal grey from the R1200R will be replaced bij Biaritz Blue.

Maybe.....but to me it is news that crystal grey is about to disappear

Not News! I did not know it! Talk about rare! And I don't have to ride a morticians' bike to get rare.

When I placed my order for a unit of crystal grey back in July, I was told that color has been discontinued. instead what was offered to me was this blue or the white. I would imagine the white would look far better than the blue.

I have just purchased a used Black one but if I was to order a new one I might of been tempted order a Granite Gray Metallic
