, I finally ended up getting the kit from Beemershop. 
Timing was very good as a week after I installed it, I ended up needing a jump and the guy in the pickup (another rider) pulled over to help me and there would have been no way his jumper cables would have reached the battery living under the tank.
Definitely a worthwhile mod.
