Thanks for the info riceburner. Nice guards, nice site! I fitted the plastic beemer guards the other week so have some protection but those Stantons look great.

You still ride Wiltshire trails or packed in now we are effectively illegal everywhere we go off tarmac?

I had a pair of guards delivered from Stanton to the UK last week. Cost around £145 inc delivery at current rates and are well worth the extra over the BMW plastic guards.

They fit the twin sparks perfectly. as Riceburner says you have to modify the lower sparkplug guards, but this is easy.
No problems with the install and they really look the business.

That was a couple of years ago, I went with a company that did green-laning guided tours - provided everything :) Haven't been back, but very tempted to I have to say.

Not sure of the current legalities tbh.

Some prankster decided to top my bike off the center stand last night and I woke to the bike resting on its right side. Besides the counseling I'll need, I also need a new set of cylinder head guards, because the BMW version cracked in half and came unhinged completely and the heads got scuffed a bit. Better than nothing, of course, but won't even withstand a tip-over. I'm off to order Stantons!
