Actually yes. If I've replied to you in a post here, in R1150R or in Rockster or wherever, I do sort of expect you to see it - most people tend to see if their posts have generated a response.
Do you see me (and the other non-paying posters) as lesser members because we haven't paid out?
Honestly, yup. But wait, I'm not sure what you mean by "lesser," but if you mean: will I listen to you and take your opinion in to less consideration, then yes.
I'm pasting this from the member link at the top:
"
What Do Members Get?
Members will be given member numbers, and have special access to the Member's Section and Pat's section to voice their opinion on the site and suggest changes/additions as they see necessary. I very closely monitor the members section, so if you want me to read something, its best done in there. Occasionally, I will post a vote on certain site additions/changes or topics that arise. Most of the great things on this site are a result of member input!"

oh yeah - and the question I've asked at least twice is "Do you think that maybe it's time to sell out, move on, and let someone else manage the board, if you're receiving no joy from it anymore (something you've stated repeatedly)?"
I didnt reply because its a rediculous question, and frankly, the second time I've taken insult to your posting. If you dont like it here, go start your own site.
If you have any more questions for me, I suggest you send them privately.

Hi Doug. Yes, I absolutely agree that we are "lesser" beings if we haven't paid our dues. I see my Customers as different if they don't sign up to contracts - that's entirely fair enough.
But whoa! Your last tirade against "Rice" was out of order. He's asked you a civil question [two or three times] and you've not had the civility to answer him [other than with your last caustic comments]. If you don't want to sell, retire, or whatever, that's fine but it wasn't a "rediculous" question. It's you who's been posting how awful it is as site owner, not the "registered ones" who've been driving this. BTW, before you start to think this is a plot, I've never met "Rice" and only "know" him through his input to this board.
I don't want this forum to degenerate to the point of extinction [like anyone cares (or even should care) what I want], I've found it extremely useful but the fact that I now go to "Off Topic" first demonstrates the issue at hand.
You and the Mods ought to think about extending "the hand of friendship" to all present here and you need to heed the words of "Gord", as he is one of the few voices of sense still posting. Your task must be difficult in the extreme but you took it on voluntarily, so it's your responsibility!
Cheers, Steve
PS; A Happy Christmas and a better 2006 to everyone [and I mean everyone].

ok fine - paid members have greater status - fair enough (I suppose). (I you like living in the 1800's (that's a tongue in cheek joke btw). Tell me which classes of people aren't allowed to Vote in the US these days? (that's a related question of genuine curiosity btw. Because it doesn't really matter who's able to vote these days - the person/group who makes the most noise is the one who tends to get listened to.)
But as for the insult - where??? Genuinely confused as to why you think that question is insulting. If someone asked me if I was thinking of giving up motorcycling after I'd had a few bad days (and believe me I've had a poo december bikeing wise) I wouldn't be insulted.
ok - maybe I've been a bit "pushy" in asking it a few times - but it was a naturally ocurring though after I first saw you say you were getting dis-interested in the board (I believe it was after you told us you didn't have an R1150R anymore.).
