Dave;
Those Harley flat track Sportys have always been a fantasy of mine, but that TL... WOW!!!
I like a bike that makes me pee my pants twice. Once in anticipation and again from the actual experience.

Nice stuff Randy...and up to your usual standards of course!
Makes me wish I'd kept my two airheads. The Mystic hot rod was up to your standards!

Three trick paint jobs that we did in the 70's. We did a lot of trick paint jobs.

So, Dean-O...who's the young whipersnapper astride your R27?

Randy, I take that as a real complment!
Hi-comp pistons, BMW "Sport" cam, ported & flowed heads, lightened everything, Mikuni flats, dual-plugged heads, hot coils, blewie ezhaust, the whole nine yards. LOTS of other stuff.
Ran good, sounded good, looked good.
I put a ton of time, money & work in that bike and *really* liked it. Then rode a stock 50R and said "Oh crap, what have I done?!"

Bro Dave, that was a 30 year younger Dean O, a full tilt bozo out of control BMW nut and a much younger hoon of the first order.
Notice all the high quality trials protective gear.........NOT.
