ASC. I have raised the wheel in 3rd once by accident. Scared the chit outa me. The ASC kicked in and set it down gently before I knew what was going on.

I should not have any more power than my camhead. I get too stupid.

Love my camhead, so I am keeping it for a long time. By the time its worn out, I will be looking at the water cooled model.

David
Please tell me how you did that.

Racing a guy in a mustang. It lofted the wheel in first, second and third. I am sure I shifted up when it was red line. No power shifting, but wfo after letting the clutch out.
I don't usually beat on my bike, but....

Each time it just set the wheel down gently and kept on accelerating. Its more abrupt in first.

Only did it once. I kicked his azz too.

I don't find it that hard to believe. My 300 lb KLX351 25 hp would loft the front wheel in first and second. My 65 hp 400 lb versys will do throttle wheelies in first at any time. 110 hp and just under 500 lbs ?

I don't know why all the buzz on a water cooled boxer.

I've been checking the antifreeze in my 2004 R1150R for almost 9 years now. And I've teaching y'all and talking about it for almost that long. Heck....BMW got the design from me..................

When I get back east for a long ride, we'll just have to sit down and discuss this over some freshly procured snipe during one of those campouts ... would love to hear about the genesis of the new designs. :) =D>
