You could either setup a photo sharing account with a place like Smugmug or if you have a broadband connection they usually have an online storage feature that is availiable to subscribers. I don't know of any photo sharing sites that are free, but I'm sure someone on this board knows of something. In the mean time, I could post a photo for you. Just send it to [email protected]

I'd like to see pics of the 650GS guards as well - I've seen them on a 650GS - but never on a bigger bike.

FWIW I've used both styles of handguard (R1150GS on my Rockster and F650GS on my wife's F650GS) I thought the larger R1150GS guards gave a lot more protection both from bushes and from the wind.

Here are the pics from dumby on how he mounted the 650 handguards on his Rock.

To mount these you need to countersink the hole so the bar-end screws fit
flush. Heating and bending are needed to get the inner ends to lay where
they should, but heat VERY carefully, as the plastic really wants to
blister. I used black permatex silicon sealant to stick the inner ends to
the covers.

As a bonus, check out the before & after pictures from where I modified the
seat a couple of days ago. It was super-cheap and the riding comfort
improved instantly - I only took off an inch from the back but now I can put
both feet all the way down and it took the weight off my forearms.

I just recently had my hand guards and belly pan painted to match the Citrus Green. I think it looks great!!! Love the stripes! One of the reasons to own a Rockster!!! Enjoy!! Not sure if I figured out how to post images. Here goes!!!
