With a photo like that, you SHOULD be running something sporty.... not what the masses around here run.
Then again you already know that you're not like the masses here, and like to show us.

Who cares if a tire might last 1000 or 2000 more miles over another, personally I choose what feels the best to me while riding, and swap tires long before they have to be changed. Milage is so subjective it's pointless to even discuss it really, milage says more about a rider, than the tire IMO.

ha no not with the masses.
not really bothered to much about the mileage on the tyres ,as long as i get around 4000 miles i am quite happy , although its quite interesting how much guys to get out the tyres , i ran pirelli scorpions on a buell x cross , 4500 out a rear , same tyre on a ktm 950 ,only lasted 3000,almost 30 bhp more and it showed . the decision for my winter tyres is going to by either pirelli scorpions or the conti road attack ,what ever i can pick up the cheapest ..i too do not let the tyres get below 2mm ok in dry but the wet it could be a nightmare.
done 2winters on metzeler tourance on a gs and they are fantastic tyre ,track day too ,did not let go , i was worried .be great to get them in large road sizes . i have a spare set of wheels here off a r1200s i used to own , been trying to sell , no takers whaa .so possibly run a set of scorpions and a set of conti roads .
seems to be that the michelin have taken the lead on the poll.

The set that I put on last are the new Continental conti-motions, I have found them to be about the same as the brigstone 021's that I have had several sets of. At 3500 miles the are wearing well(should go 7000 by the looks)and I could not beat the price @ 175us a set delivered from chaparral.
