Chris,

I don't think there is any difference in the looks of the Low Comfort Saddle (800 mm) compared to the High Comfort Saddle (830 mm).

Here is a link to Max's BMW for part numbers and prices:

There is no ultra low Comfort Saddle. The Low Comfort Saddle at 800 mm (31.5") is the same height as the stock Bench Seat supplied with the bike.

The Bench (stock) seats come in three heights:

Low Bench - 770 mm (30.3")
Bench Seat (supplied as stock) - 800 mm (31.5")
High Bench - 835 mm (32.8")

The Comfort Saddles come in only two heights:

Low - 800 mm (31.5") Same height as the standard bench seat)
High - 830 mm (32.7")

I have a 29 inch inseam and I cannot flatfoot, but I am on the front part of my foot, almost mid arch (same as I am with the bench seat) on my Low comfort Saddle.

I bought the low comfort seat as it was suppose to be the same height as the standard 800mm seat, I do think the low comfort seat is alittle lower as it dose bend my knees alittle more, but the seat is much better than the standard seat. I rode home from Phoenix to Folsom CA. Sunday, 827 miles, I won't say my butt was'nt tired but I would have never made it on the standard seat. I probbably should have taken the 830mm seat as it might be alittle easyer on my old knees.

The seat does have a plastic cover, and yes the seat should come as standard equipment.

I placed an order at the local dealer for the low comfort seat, it should be in in a week they said.
Thanks for the info everybody.

I personally can not tell a difference between the stock low seat and the comfort low seat as far as height. I swear mine smells like leather, but I just looked and it is vinyl.
