Fed Ex man was just here again. That makes twice this week!! I feel loved. He brought me a new purse and new Etymotic ER 6i Isolator earphones because the da*n cat chewed the cord of the ones I've had fir 2.5 years. I think I may re-wire the old pair for standby. I never realized how important they were to my everyday life till they were ruined!!! Best fit ever! Purse fits too.

I just bought a new par of BMW All Round boots to phase out he BMW Goretex boots that have over 60k miles on them. I wish I had bought 2 pair of the Goretex boots 6 years ago when they were on closeout at $77. The All round boots should be a good replacement/supplement for the old boots.
How do you like the All Arounds? I tried some on at the dealer's and found them 10x more comfortable than my Harley-Davidson boots and they don't look like space boots. The price was right, too. I even went back and tried them on a week later. In the end, though, I got Vendramini Daytonas. They do look like space boots and are more expensive by $75 but I decided I wanted something really waterproof for touring.
They aren't as quite as comfortable as the All Arounds but I have to assume they will break-in with use. I will probably end up getting All Arounds for around town later in the year, and put up with the Harley's in the meantime.
I think the Vendraminis look pretty good, a lot like the Sidi OnRoads which are even more expensive. I have the old style OnRoads and in particular you will like the height of those boots. My Alpinestars are shorter and I miss the extra support when I wear those instead of the OnRoads.

Oops, sorry, I didn't mean to hijack the thread talking about boots. The UPS man brought them, and a couple of days later he brought me my new Shoei helmet. People make fun of Harley guys for all of the chrome farkles they put on their bikes. I don't notice the the FedEx and UPS guys come any less often now that I have a BMW. It's just that BMW farkles don't gleam--they're beautifully understated, like the bikes.

O-ho the Wells Fargo Wagon is a-comin' down the street,
Oh please let it be for me!

I wish, I wish I knew what it could be!

I haven't worn them, except around the house. I may wear the old boots to the bash and break in the new ones when I get back.

sorry for the continuation of hijack...
I've been wearing the All-arounds for 1-2 years now (I forget when I got them). They are not the best when it comes to protection, but not bad either. They are Very Comfortable on and off the bike!!! And I hate wearing boots. I am a running shoe type of guy.
