I can't personally testify if they are any good or not but:
These folks came to our local BMW club meeting and talked about their products a couple of weeks ago. I was quite impressed by the fact that they sell only to the motorcycle market. A small local family owned business. They cater to HD & GW crowds and recently discovered that BMW riders like to wash their bikes too. High quality stuff and nice folks to boot. They do their own formulations and make their own cleaning products. I have no affiliation whatsoever in their business and have yet to use any of their products. They passed out free samples. I will report back after I've had a chance to try some of them. I like that they avoid the use of alkalies, acids and silicones. Their cleaning products contain mostly surfactants which won't remove your wax or etch your paint.

I reckon UK bikes get a bit dirtier and hot soapy water and a sponge is needed to get rid of the caked on mud, field run off, agricultural produce, road film etc before even thinking about the no effort cleaning methods above. I am not obsessive and only wash the BMW about 3 times per season- just to get it clean enough to check for leaks and incipient problems.. Rarely polish and never detail it.
